Putting GPS to Work
I used the GPS to get to hidden dark street in nearby Glenview to pick up a friend last night and it worked like a charm. As we approached her corner it warned me to turn. But I couldn't see the street so I was afraid I'd miss it. Then suddenly the voice said, "Turn Right NOW" and there was the street. Absolutely magical!
But I realized yesterday afternoon that when I park anywhere in daytime, I must unclip the GPS from the stand stuck on the middle of my windshield, and put it on the floor where it can't be seen, or else in my purse. Otherwise it's a prime target for thieves!!!!
This devise definitely will improve my holiday partying. I'm now absoluely fearless about going anywhere.
(I'm now also considering the purhase of a blow-up plastic man to sit beside me on the front seat at night. I'll keep you "posted" on that. )

Re: the plastic man. Get a gray haired hunk and take him inside when you get home.
Happy holidays.
