Thanks so much for your suggestion. I haven't tried Offshorex.com but I agree there are a host of foreign pharmaseutical sites online from which to choose. I use the two that I found in an article in the Wall Street Journal years ago and know from my experience they fill prescription correctly using generics when possible and at less cost than U.S. retailers. The Detroit Free Press carried a story some years back that showed a survey of all the U.S. outlets, and Costco was at the top of that list for the least expensive drugs.

I have used Costco with my Medicare D prescription plan for some drugs. But certain prescriptions still are much less through my Canadian sources. I just have to make sure I can allow two weeks for shipping. Otherwise I fill in from Costo Pharmacy.

The bottom line is that you must search "vetted" online pharmacies for each individual prescription, and purchase each RX from the best source for that one. Also remember to consider the cost of shipping. When I registered at www.canadapharmacy.com several years ago, I paid $50 extra for free shipping for everyone in the family forever. That's certainly paid for itself.

Thank you so much for writing, BB... I checked out www.gutterclusterbuster.com and it IS terrific. You didn't add that it does have an extension to reach up to the second story of the house--and higher.

Even better, there's a sale right now, and thr $39.95 price is $29.95. That's what I've been paying my landscaper t do it. If we buy one we never have to pay it again.

I will definitely look into it. Tell us more.

Loved your article and the fact that there was no unnecessary clean-up when they used a "vacuum" to get the job done. Would like to recommend a DIY gutter cleaning attachment tool, that allows all homeowner or renters with gutters to also be able to "vacuum all debris" from their gutters, and save money each time they clean out their gutters. I have the Gutter Clutter Buster that I always use to clean out wet or dry debris from my rain gutters while I stay safe on the ground. All the debris collected in the canister is dumped into my compost pile. Being the safest way to clean gutters it also is like you said "no clean-up" needed which saves me lots of time. I got my Gutter Clutter Buster, on-line, from the Inventor's exclusive marketing web page. Check this out and tell your friends about it as well. We tell all our friends, family, and others, so they will realize there is a safer and cleaner way to do a once nasty chore.

Your friend may have to start by selling some of her bigger pieces of furniture since I assume that she has to move out of wherever she is living.
There are ads for live-in child care or live-in senior care. That way she would have housing and some money. She should be sure to keep her car.
Best wishes,
Carol
